seems as though only the good die young

A buddy of mine passed today. He was a good man with 4 kids, solid marriage for years, and a good Marine. Not a bike incident, just one of those days I guess. From what I know, he was up in the northern region of Ontario, Canada on a fishing trip and for some reason fell in the water. He could swim like a fish, so he must have had a different issue going on. I'm only posting this because I got nobody to talk to right now.......sorry to down anyone......join my world.....that is all...................

Thanks so much y'all.....the best therapy I could find was spending the last 3 hours with my little 12 year old apprentice. We were able to turn 2 crap bikes into one. Oh, bicycles, not motorcycles yet. I'm damn proud of this little guy. He and I are both gaining on it!

I decided to make this positive

If we all took into account those that taught us, we would see the future.
My challenge to everyone, find an apprentice, nurture them, cause them to grow, make them the best they can be, and never let them down.
This is a great community here on CLSB, we can be better, take the challenge.
I dare you. I'll call it the Jerry ride. "Ride fast and take chances." so he did.
Sometimes fish can't swim. With guidance, they can fly.

Hey bro I am sorry to hear that, one of my best friends die over the weekend. He was 25 yrs old and felt like a brother to me. I know how you feel, I did a reading at the service. I am here I know how it feels, this week has been the hardest week ever.

But it gets easier trust me. What cheered me up we had a ride for him Wednesday morning I wish I posted it on here. But I was still too shocked, 35-40 bikes showed up and half of them didn't know him.

and they stayed through the funeral and rode to the grave site. we are here for you buddy.
