Baltimore Grand Prix!!!!!

Anyone going to the Baltimore Grand Prix on Labor Day weekend?

http://baltimoregrandprix.com/

Two buddies and myself will be riding from Iowa City to the race, we haven't decided on accommodations yet but we'd be happy to have more people ride with us if you'd like to.

But its gonna be a decently long ride.

Nothing like a good road race through a city .... 2.1 Mile track with 12 turns. Indy and American Le Mans, its gonna be sweet.

I'm so glad that Indy merged and returned to the true road courses. The series is so much better now.

Well the races were awesome, but I think I enjoyed all the Astons/Ferrari's/Lambo's/and old BMW's in the paddocks more. Pictures to follow ... but I'm still on my way back to Iowa City. 1318 miles down ... 551 miles to go.

We took a pit stop in DC, during rush hour, on labor day weekend. Definitely not recommended b/c one of us had an air-cooled bike. That and I was in my full leathers.

Life's journey is not arrive at the grave safely and in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways totally worn out, shouting "Holy Crap", What a Ride"!!!

These are in no particular order. Just a few of the 400+ photos I took. All from my iPhone, sorry for the quality.
