Custom Wedding Ring Design

Has anyone worked with a jeweler (preferably in Jeweler's Row) who has custom designed a wedding/engagement set? The company I'm working with now does not speak directly to the consumer so it's this endless circle-jerk of guess work via email. I'm looking for a designer who you can sit down with in person and work through the CAD in real-time.

Brian Gavin Diamonds....I would recommend them over any jeweler. They have excellent customer service. I had them set some diamonds in earring settings for me and had constant contact with them throughout the whole process. Even sent pictures of the final product before they shipped them to me with next day service. Every question I had was answered within 30 mins of sending the email. Excellent service.

My jeweler put together a custom engagement ring, based upon another design I found elsewhere. I intend to go back to him for our wedding rings in a few months.

Gino @ Marry Me Jewelry in La Grange. We even negotiated a nice little cash deal.

Do you work with CAD? I've done jewelry work through Fey Jewelers in Naperville and they do a great job. I've also had custom work done with Replacement Services and received great feedback although I'm not sure how available they are to the general public (I'm an insurance claims adjuster). They are located in Fairview Heights, IL - near St. Louis.

Martel in 8th Floor of Jewelers row. We use to order custom made jewelries from them from the 80's until 2005 (we live too far now). I can't remember the other ladies name but the other one is Monique.

My reference, Dennis is their Marketing guy and doesn't do sales, he and Phil helped me pick out my engagement/wedding ring. New York Jewelers FTW.

Dave and I used Steve Quick.
http://www.stevequickjeweler.com/
We were very pleased with what we purchased. Dave found a wedding ring that he loved but it only came in platinum, and we wanted white gold. They were able to duplicate the exact ring for us in white gold and the price was very reasonable. Steve is amazing, and so are the girls that work there. Also the storefront is always cool to look around, very creative with layout, and design.

I don't ride, I cook!
