why? get the iphone app and IR emitter, if that's your goal. i would never recommend a full touch screen remote, surfing with it sucks.

I'm eagerly watching this thread too ... I have the same problem.

Randal: [to Dante] Would you grow up!
Becky: [to Dante] OK, I'm only telling you this because we're friends, but sometimes, in the heat of the moment, it's forgivable to go ass-to-mouth.
Randal: [chuckling] Ha! I knew it.

The Logitech Harmony 1 is the like the newest/nicest.

I've got a Harmony 880 for the bedroom and love it, and a Harmony 1100 (bigger square one) in the family room. It works ok, but is a little bit uncomfortable to hold, and processes slow. I prefer the 880 in the bedroom. If I had to buy a new one, I'd probably go the Harmony 1 route. The coolness factor of the 1100 doesn't outweigh it's uncomfortablness of it for me.

+3 for the Harmony One. Great remote.

I wish the Harmony units would move the number pad up further as I find it hard to hold all the way at the bottom and work the numbers at the same time

For the home user the harmony is the best option, without a doubt. Everything worth a damn is more money and harder to configure for the typical user.
