I have som video from yesterday. I was behind the new bike for a full session. The bike is definitely strong in the straights. I will post up as soon as it finishes uploading.

Thank you for the video!!!

Soooo, i picked up the bike at 4am on friday morning. got 1.5 hours of sleep and headed with steve to BHF for test and tune.

we made a LOT of changes each session and each time out, the bike felt differently
I made it out for 4 sessions and gave up, since the lack of sleep was getting back to me... at the end of the day, we changed the fork springs to make the front softer, and off to another day of the bike feeling differently

the bike is FANTASTIC and thank you DanO again for keeping the bike for me!!! It's a rocket!!!

It just needs a little more test and tune.

It is SOOOOOOOOO different to ride than the honda. EVERYTHING is different. the seat, the way you sit on the bike, the way it handles, footpegs, powerband, the tank. OMG the tank is so different and it hurts LOL. i mean everything.

i got two practice sessions on saturday and one on sunday, and it was time to race!!
(we were still making changes before i went out each time LOL)

With every lap, the bike feels more comfortable.
I got into 17s this weekend, and I KNOW there's more ;-)))

Thanks to all who stopped by today.
Thank you Steve and DanO for turning the knobs and all the advice.
Thanks also to Scotty Ryan from trackside suspension and engineering and Rob Sobottka.

It was awesome pitting with Dejan, Jeremy, Jason, and Pat.

Dave13 took this pic. I still don't have any. AND NOBODY recognizes me LOL

Thanks again for the video. I kept saying i NEED to see a picture or something. I have no idea if i'm getting of the bike. I'm so used to superbike tail. My new bike has a sofa and i have no idea where i am on the seat.

Thank you!

That must have been in the hW race. I was working on drills. It was just another practice session for me

In femmoto we saw A LOT of traffic. I hope they move us to F40 again. We didn't get a single clean lap in the femmoto race. I did see a 17 in that one too.
I got consistent 18s in the first race of the day, and that was my goal. Get back to where i was with honda. Then we'll talk improvement

You and that girl on the black R6 with pink decals were noticeablely quicker. Seemed to me that you were well caught up to the 1st wave by the 2nd lap.

We were all riding thru traffic. It's just the matter of where we catch the traffic and how quickly we can get around people.

The girl with pink suit is Meghan Ryan and she is super fast. Jen and I are similar pace, but Jen caught up in traffic too, so that all separated us.

I hope they put us with F40 again, so we can race each other and not thunderbikes. Duh.

For me, seeing Scotty tell her to hurry up, instead of showing her big wide open arms, was good to see too

When did you get ahead of Meg!? I missed it!
Ohhhh... by "on top of" he meant "on her ass"

What was going through my mind off the start getting the holeshot, until you and Meghan passed me and I nearly highsided myself in T6:

"holyshitholyshitholyshitholyshit-what happened to X? get out of the way!!-holyshitholyshitholyshit-OHSHIT"

Note to self: Just because you can hold the throttle wide open through turns on the 125, doesn't mean you should do the same thing on the 600.

Good job this weekend! 17's! *sigh*
My comfort zone seems to be 20's. I didn't hit teens at all this weekend. I did however drop 15 seconds off my best time on the 125 though.

The bike is beautiful, and is badass in person. Let me know what you think of black on black in photos. We're going to have to have a big bike swapping orgy at Putnam. We're taking my 600RR, the 125, and X is picking up his R6.
