Wow that's messed up.

I heard about eastern european parents using similar technique to teach kids. Apparently it works.

Anybody can catch anything on video if you give it enough tries. I did the same thing with my kid. There is a reason my daughter swims very well. My first 3 kids died.

It's a reflex to hold their breath at a young age. Infants can do this and it can last up until 3 months of age.
