Moto GP Indy For Newbs??

So I have a chance to get some General Admission tickets and go with a friend of a friend. I have never been to a professional race so I am really excited to go but wanted some opinions/info on the race.

Are the GA seats worth it?
Anything I should bring?
How is the parking and food situation?

Thanks

Plenty of parking. Last year I came late and parked right in front of the track for 10 bucks.

Every year I've gone the staff does not prevent people from sitting in some of the grandstands sections until race day, so buy the GA tickets and you can usually enjoy some action from the seats (sections J and H by turn 16 for example).

Then for race day I find one of the best places to watch is the hill opposite the golf course by turns 7 and 8.

I believe there is free parking on the back strait. You have to enter in from the North side of the track and then go where they tell you. You get a free kickstand puck, too.

XR1200s race tomorrow and Sunday. 33 entries confirmed, maybe more. The grid is huge and the racing is going to be awesome.
