What kind of work are you looking for more precisely? I have a buddy who works for a company and does free lance on the side for smaller stuff.

in few words about the project. Web site is for auto repair type business, has to be both user and SEO friendly , looking to incorporate features/pages like finding few nearest locations, map of all locations, creating direction to location, info pages (about us, services... etc), web based repair estimate (simple matrix on a splat), schedule an inspection based on location and hours for that location... probably more things will come up along the way

not sure what platform/ lang. we are not looking to hire a person, we need web site developped.
I think project would be out of the scope for a side business type of person. I would prefer to deal with a company with good record, examples and referrals.
