Bears game 411 needed ASAP

Last minute decision to take my oldest to the tonight's game. Never been there before so, need info on where to park and preferably if there is a place that can shuttle us back and force.

I have found few places where we can eat and will take us there. but they wont take us back.

Googling the info as well.

Thank you

I am going there tonight. Probably just park in the parking lot and pay out the ass.

I usually take the shuttle bus from Hackneys in Glenview, but I think you need to reserve space ahead of time. You can call and ask

If I do drive I always park at this building...

1160 south michigan avenue chicago

Its never full, easy in and easy out, and its like a 10 minute walk to Solider Field. I think its like $30

I park at the open air lot at 8th and Polk (just west of Hackney's printer's row, actually) and its usually less than $25 and then its about a mile walk to the stadium from there.

Thank you guys. Trying to get the shipment out at the last moment and planning this thing meant that I ended up doing what I could find in the last sec. Parked on the Wabash just south of Roosevelt and paid 8 bucks on the meter. It was free after 9pm which worked great. Had a nice walk with the kid there and back.

FUCKING CITY. got a ticket for not having front plate. I wasn't even in the car when it was issued.

You don't have to be in the car, and fyi that's a state law. Aren't you an MSF instructor, I'd think you'd know these things.

Come on, motorcycles don't even have front plates. How would being an MSF instructor make someone the front plate expert? Or have you really been without a bike for that long.

I just assumed a general knowledge of vehicle laws since he's an instructor. As a cop once told me as he issued me a ticket for driving through a construction area, "ignorance of the law is not an excuse".

Magnets - they work. I just slap a front plate on whenever I park on the street in the city. Just dont forget the plate before you drive off. I usually leave someone on my seat/dash to remind me to get it.

Damn, wish i thought of that before the ticket i got last week

Due to recent budget cuts and the rising cost of electricity, gas, and oil,

'The Light at the End of the Tunnel' has been turned off.

Well that sucked. I planned on parking in the cash garage but got lost, drove around, sat in traffic and all the cash garages were full. After almost an hour and a half of this and almost running out of gas I just went home.

haha, I'm just saying that it's well known you'll get tickets for not having a front plate. This is what moto178 referred to as the "baller tax".

I do not recall last time I had front plates on my cars and was never hassled for it. Granted I barely ever bring my rig to the city, but still. And for fuck sake. $50.00 dollars for no front plate????

When I used to get tickets for this, I would keep a Polaroid (that should tell you how long ago this was) to bring with me to court to get the ticket dropped. What sucks about your situation is that you got the ticket while parked. Loki is got some good advice for the future.

They now take pictures showing that your car had no front plate at the time. Also, if you put the plate on the dash that does not work - they just note that on the ticket.

For me, the picture was to show that I fixed the violation, not to dispute the ticket.

My front plate is on my airdam. I normally don't get bothered for it. Its 5 inches from the ground and I consider it on the front of the car.
