I just sat through an earthquake

Sitting in class in Northridge, CA, when the room/building shook at 1:47PM today.

They are reporting a 4.2 quake centered in Newhall (near Lancaster), about 12 - 16 miles away.

No. NTTIAWWT.

This is a broadcast video server technical class. No women present.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

Well, 2's and 3's are common, but a 4.2 that's really shallow is a bit more than usual, Especially when you are less than 10 miles from the epicenter.

Anyway, it's the first one more than 3.5 that I've not slept through.

Wish I could say the same for the class.

It's more like sitting through a high wind or a small tornado than an everyday occurrence.

J/K, Glad you're alright duder, that little 5.X that touched down south of here was enough to scare me some months back.
