Stub Hub.com

I'd like to take a customer to a college football game on Oct 1st. Good seats now are $450 per. 50 yard line - 12 rows up.

There are currently 1650 seats available according to their website.

Does anyone have experience with this? Im wondering if the tix costs will go up as the game gets closer or go down as guys dont want to get hung without the tix selling. $2k is a big chuck o change.

Depends on how in demand tickets are. Seems a bit much for a college game, but I don't know. They usually don't go down until day of if at all. Once in a while you will find someone just looking to dump tickets for cost, but that is unusual. Most of those tickets are bought up by brokers with money to burn. If I find something that is a good price to me, I usually snap it up. If you wait to try to find the best deal, sometimes you're assed out especially when it comes to tickets.

Due to recent budget cuts and the rising cost of electricity, gas, and oil,

'The Light at the End of the Tunnel' has been turned off.

must be a really good customer to drop that kind of coin on 'em.

Also, check craigslist and ebay, sometimes you can find better deals.

whose playing?

stub hub, if you take money out of the equation, is rock solid. usually, you can have e-tix in your hand same day. and prices can and have flucuated, but it is not guaranteed that they will.

if this custy is a important as u say they are, spend the coin, get the tix and seats you wants and need, and avoid all the other hassels that you would have had by doing something else (different tix provider, holding out for cheapr tix, etc...)

i have bought and sold tickets on ebay without any problems and he has enough advanced notice. Craigslist is always a gamble and you have to take that into consideration when buying, but that applies to anything purchased on craigslist.

If it's to good collage team or 2 teams that have a good rivarly then buy them now. Tickets will only go up. College football tickets always sell. If it was just for you and ur kid I would say hold off and buy them from someone at the last minute who can't go. This is different though, you are taking a customer to a game I would get it squred away asap.

some people were asking more than $500 per, but some people had cheaper seats in less valuable areas as well.
