What's a trusted site to get your credit score?

And if it's free all the better.

Thanks.

Myfico is good, but this one is setup by the actual agencies, going directly to the source. You can order each once a year, the best way to do it is checking each one at a time in 4 month increments

I didn't think annual credit report gives scores too. Just the Print out from the big 3. They also give you the scores now?

Reports can be had for free. You usually have to pay for the score.

Credit Scores will always cost $$$.

Hence why I advised you to go to http://myfico.com. https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp only gets you your base credit reports (which you should still pull on an annual basis regardless).

And before you place an order, spend some time Googling "MyFico coupon code" or "MyFico Promotion Code" or something similar. They usually have discount codes floating around. A quick Google shows a 25% discount code available, though I didn't check to see if it is still valid. Nonetheless, there are discounts out there.

you can go directly to the credit bureaus to get your report and score.

I use equifax to get all 3 reports and the score. They will also tell you why your score is the way it is, how it compares to the nation and what you can do to make it better or worse.

I think it's about $40.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

By law you're entitled to 1 report from each of the 3 bureaus once a year. That's what annualcreditreport.com was set up for. But last I used them, it did NOT have my credit score on them. It might have changed since then, but I'm not sure.

I don't need a credit report to know my credit is in the shitter!

Randal: [to Dante] Would you grow up!
Becky: [to Dante] OK, I'm only telling you this because we're friends, but sometimes, in the heat of the moment, it's forgivable to go ass-to-mouth.
Randal: [chuckling] Ha! I knew it.

Does annualcreditreport.com give you your score for free as well as the report?

Last year all 3 of the credit score companies offered free trials where they gave you the score after signing up. I ended up canceling the service at no charger after getting my score.
