What's up with the smoke/smog in Bartlett/Bloomingdale?

It smells strange and there's a definite haze in the sky, anyone hear anything?

Kinda cool if you ask me - till we all die from the gasses and whatnot.

Hi Mike,
...SMOKE FROM NORTHEAST MINNESOTA WILDFIRE INVADING WISCONSIN AND NORTHERN ILLINOIS...

SOUTHERN WISCONSIN AND NORTHERN ILLINOIS ARE EXPERIENCING THE EFFECTS OF SMOKE FROM THE WILDFIRE BURNING IN THE BOUNDARY WATERS CANOE AREA IN NORTHEAST MINNESOTA. THE SMOKE IS BEING DISPERSED OVER WISCONSIN AND NORTHERN ILLINOIS BY NORTHERLY WINDS FLOWING AROUND A CENTER OF HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE NORTHERN PLAINS. THE SMOKE WILL PERSIST FOR THE REST OF THE DAY AND LIKELY INTO THE EVENING. EXPECT HAZY SKIES AND A DISTINCT BURNING ODOR.

SOME WISCONSIN RESIDENTS HAVE REPORTED DIFFICULTY
BREATHING...IRRITATED EYES AND HEADACHES AS A RESULT OF THE SMOKE. A WEATHER SPOTTER NEAR HARTFORD HAS REPORTED NOTICEABLE AMOUNTS OF ASH BEING DEPOSITED ON CARS.

AIR QUALITY WILL LIKELY REMAIN UNHEALTHY AT TIMES IN PARTS OF SOUTHERN WISCONSIN THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. CHILDREN...ELDERLY PEOPLE...INDIVIDUALS WITH RESPIRATORY AND CARDIAC PROBLEMS...OR ANYONE ENGAGED IN STRENUOUS OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES FOR A PROLONGED PERIOD OF TIME...SHOULD USE CAUTION

Smartdrug, i went out for luch from 12-1pm and got back to my plant and i was wonderign the same thing, i thought it was kinda wierd as why would they spray for Mosquitos now. i work in Cary off of rt 14? WTF is up - new zombie spray of Mass destruction?
