Grain or some shit on westbound 290 this afternoon?

Anybody on 290 near mannheim around 2 today? What the hell was that all over the road, and how did it get there? 290 was at a dead stop east of 17th all the way up to mannheim. I lane split that shit only to see the roads a bit dusty. I didn't stop to check out the whole scene, but it looked like there was a small truck parked on the side of the road, no police or anything on scene.

And if anybody was sitting in traffic and seen a bike with a big topbox go by...that was me, laughing at you guys.

This is just West of there a few hours before you drove through. Could this possibly be it?
It would be the oil dry or whatever they used to clean up the mess.

Westbound is usually alright, eastbound sucks right there. Just wondering if anybody knew what happened. The crap was across all the lanes.

That happened where they're doing construction on york road, near the 290 overpass. I heard about that too.

Yeah i didn't really look at it. I was too busy watching my mirrors making sure some driver wasn't too busy staring at all the shit to watch where they're going. I just remember initially thinking it was gravel from a ways back.

I went through it yesterday morning. It is Oil-Dri (or something), and there was a big oil spot in the left center lane. No sign of what happened, but I'd guess it was a crash--as mentioned above, traffic likes to stop there, but not so much east of there.

I've gone by it every morning now and didn't notice any oil spots...wasn't looking though. Everybody was freaking out and slamming on their brakes for the stuff....it was pretty comical. I guess if there was another crash at least the oil-dry was already there.

I don't think that was oil dry. There is way to much of it out there. I must have drove through it whenever it first happened. It was a couple inches deep across the whole highway when I hit it.

When i got to it it was spread out, but not very deep. That would've been bad on the bike! The road is still a bit dusty from it.
