anyone have a case splitter?

Anyone near the NW side of chicago have a case splitter I can borrow for a few days? I'll need it in about a week. I'd rather not shell out $70 for one. Maybe trade for a case of your choice of beer?

never needed one. use prybars on the blocks that are cast into the case, and not on the mating surfaces.

I have the Suzuki one for the TL, if that's what you need. It's been through a couple of floods but should still be good.

Is that the purple hammer, or red hammer? I think I have both.

If the case splits Horizontal it will be a whole different game than if it splits vertical.

Horizontal comes off the outer bearing race . vertical pulls it off the shaft.

What kind of motor ??

Gus
