Suggest a route to Full Moon?

Thinking of going up to Full Moon for the first time tomorrow on my GS as I finally have the R/R fixed...will be riding with a friend that has a 1981 CB750F SuperSport.

Anyone have a suggestion for a fun route to the Full Moon from Aurora?

Thanks.

Just keep heading north, than east, until you hit either Rt 137 (then go east), or rt 41 (then go north).

Nothing really entertaining, unless you want to ride all the way east to Sheridan Road, then go north to Rt 137, then west to 41 then just south.

I'll probably be there on a silver Duc Monster, look for me.

Weathers supposed to be somewhat sketchy tomorrow but that does sound like a pretty decent medium range ride in the AM.

You actually had me get a map to see if I could see any route from Aurora to the Full Moon that would be interesting. You just keep getting deeper into the urban developement that is Greater Chicago. I'd say just jump on 88 and take it to 294 and go north to 137.Take 137 east and tiurn right on 41 and prepare to turn left into the Moon right away. Now check out the bikes in the lot a bit, go inside and have a good breakfast and map a scenic ride up in southern Wisconsin. Come out and check out a few more bikes and converse with the riders who will inevitably admire your GS and your friends '81 and saddle up and head north on 41 to the scenic route you mapped out while eating.
I may mosey up there myself tomorrow. I'll keep an eye out for you if I do.

I woke up early...heard the rain hitting the awning and rolled over and went back to sleep...How about a CLSB meet at the Full moon next Sunday (9/25)? Lets' make it early...say 7 am to leave time for a ride to Belvidere for the Antique Motorcycle show and swap? There are some pretty good 2 lanes from eastern Lake County to the Boone County fairgrounds. Anyone interested?
