I Am Getting My Life Back

A. - Work has agreed that I can no longer do the job of (4) people, especially when I have only been with my new Co for (5) Months - We bought (2) other Companies, laid off my Direct Report and one of my counterparts and I am the only one in Region - We should have a Director and (3) more of me for a total of (4) in my role - 2012 cannot get here fast enough when this hiring freeze and all mergers will be complete

B. - My back is getting better since I stopped riding this summer and gave it a rest - MX was fucking it up big time and I was just popping pills to keep from feeling the pain - Tired of being able to tell you what time of day it is by how my back feels i.e when I popped my last pain pill

C. - Me and the chick are getting things back to where they need to be - Long story here but I see the light at the end of the tunnel - Fuck what a travel this has been

D. - Roman, let's do RA on Sunday as this over the hill hipster needs to see just how slow I really am on the Race Bike that sits downstairs and was ridden twice this season due to the above mentioned

E. - Sorry to my close friends on here that I went silent on - A ton of shit hit me at once and all I knew how to do was ping shit off the list one by one until the list was done - I am not out of the woods by any means but at least the water level is a tad lower now

I see thanksgiving in SA..........

I need to get back to being me

I think a lot of people as of late are taking a long look at their lives and trying to handle a lot of shit to make things easier. Life was complicated before, but lately it has become unmanageable for most. Glad you got your stuff handled.

Ed, you know as well as anyone that life is short. At the end of the day I know you'll do what puts a smile on your face.

If you sacrifice half a year for that smile to be long term, so be it.

Sure it is when you lead a double life, wear spandex, go running with lots of men and visit your local forest preserves weekly to check out the local BEAR Gathering spots!

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

I'm glad to hear it, Ed. You're coming out of this a stronger man. I've had my hard times in the past, I was actually telling my girl that I wish I could go back in time, find my younger self, pat him on the back and say, "dude it gets a LOT better."

BTW, looking forward to the pics and stories from your next SA trip.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!
