It's such a good deal...if you use it :-/ I've bought three in the past in hopes of trying out new restaurants, but just never got around to using them.

You are buying a coupon for a restaurant. They have rules and you need to read them carefully before buying. Some only allow them to be used sun-Thurs. Some require a certain amount on the check. (like a $50 cert would be good on a bill over $100) They are great ways to try new places and save some cash. Usually you get them for half off or 25% off depending on the place and the amount of rules. We have used them and saved some money, and sometimes we get them just to cover dessert or an appetizer. For example if dinner would only be $60, and the card is good for $25 off $75, we will order dessert or an appetizer to get to the $75, it didn't save us a ton, since we had to buy the certificate. But do the break down, we would have paid $60 for dinner, but instead we paid the $50 bill, but $10 for the certificate and got dessert or an appetizer for the same $60 that we would have paid for just dinner. Other times to saves a bunch more money. It just depends on the specials you get. They will have another big sale deal before Christmas. My family buys these as gifts since we have small limits on gifts. Last year I got my mom a $50 card for $10. The bill had to be $100 but it was a nicer steak place, and the bill adds up fast, so they had a great dinner for half price. It kept me under the mystery gift limit, and she got a gift worth $50.
