Which speakers to go with?

wanted some input before I start pulling triggers.

With little man crawling and grabbing I want to clear away some danger.

so I am getting rid of my tv stand and remote placing all electronics to the side of the room in cabinetry.

Should I go with some wall mounted
http://www.klipsch.com/rs-52-ii-surround-speaker
for my front end or should I just get some floor standing and find a way to safely connect it to the wall, etc.

I am finally getting off my ass and trying to get this all put together.

I don't think Apple makes speakers anymore.

On the Klipsch, I have Klipssh mains, center, and double surround rears. LOVE them.
I use a couple of Sunfire (2700watt) and Velodyne (6000watt) sub-woofers to support them.
Sounds AWESOME!

Heck, the best bang for the buck for my laptop speakers is also Klipsch THX.

Enjoy.

The hanging speakers you're talking about sound like an interesting idea! But how do you deal with the wires? It would look a bit ugly them just dangling there.

I definitely need an entertainment room solution. I don't have a big room, and the speakers I have now take up valuable floor space. Puting them in the walls/ceiling could save me.

I've heard that some in-wall speakers sound decent, but not spectacular. I guess it depends on the speaker, and perhaps what's in your walls.

And I'll be damned to pay Barrett's buku bux to install something.

So I'll be watching this thread intensely!

Becky: [to Dante] OK, I'm only telling you this because we're friends, but sometimes, in the heat of the moment, it's forgivable to go ass-to-mouth.
Randal: [chuckling] Ha! I knew it.

Definitive mythos series is the way to go. They sound great have crisper highs than the klipsch and are compact. http://www.definitivetech.com/Produc...hosSeries.aspx
For the sub I went with an Epik Legend Epik subs are made in Woodstock IL. The sub hits loud low and crisp. All my wires are hidden under the floor and go to the A/V closet. http://epiksubwoofers.com/

Have you considered any of the online only retailers? I find that you get a quality speaker with good reviews for less than you would pay at a retailer.

SVS is a quality company with a great reputation.

I use Ascend at home with a custom sub woofer solution and people are generally impressed with the sound.
