I use Sprint on my EVO. When I have a 4G connection, it's just like being on a hard line.

If I'm on a 3G connection, it can be hit or miss depending on the network traffic and signal strength.

I've even been out camping, and using the Hotspot to upload photos to facebook, while VPNing to work to fix an issue.

i got it now, it is really fast. way faster than the sprint service i was using.

was using the 3g sprint laptop pci card since 2007, tried their 4g-3g device and it kept disconnecting and switching back and forth. was a disaster, plus sprint's service was spotty in my area.

its great not having anything plugged into my laptop as this is MiFi, like having a portable router.

im cancelling my sprint service now

verizon's 4G LTE rocks!

Had one through Sprint. Nice idea, worked pretty good, but battery life sucked. that and no matter how many times I swapped the unit out, it would constantly drop my VPN connection. Come to find out this had more to do with handoffs from tower to tower though, every time it would hand off, my vpn would see it as a drop and disconnect.

I found better luck with the air card version as opposed to the wifi hotspot version. at least that was being powered by the computer.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.
