Explosion Sounds near Des Plaines

Hey, does anyone live in the Des Plaines/Rosemont area near River Rd and Oakton? There are some strange explosions occurring right now and everyone here's trying to figure out what they are.

Got any info?

We still have no idea. Some of my friends in the near-west side heard them too. Strange.

Couple of weeks ago I heard a series of loud pops and I was for sure the gangbangers were going at it again, but turns out it was the high school fireworks.

JFYI guys, the schools are having problems with financials and budget cuts, so try to pay up more in your taxes.
