Less than honest members of CLSB

I thought with a few recent issues I've had lately with some CLSBers I would start a thread to shed some light on who these people really are. Not only to discredit them, which I love to do once you've proven yourself to be a real douchebag, but also to keep people aware of who they are so you don't get burned yourself.

First one is RR1000, real name Omid. I can't get into the specifics of the situation yet because it is still ongoing, but a chargeback was filed with his credit card for $923.

Second one is Iridebikes, real name Chris. Also can't get into specifics yet, but a lawsuit was filed recently for $2500.

Once details are public, I will update this thread with all the details so everybody knows what the issues were and how they were handled and what the result was.

I like to think I am a fair person, try hard to be helpful, and work hard for my money. These types of situations not only increase costs for the honest customers, but also put a black mark on the 99% of honest CLSBers out there. I have done business with a ton of people on here over the years, including Paul, Chuck, Anton, Tea, Terra, Steve, Marr, several Toms, several Bobs, several Tonys, Jason, Alexis, Janelle, Rick, Brian, Brandon, Bill, Ryan, Pat, Jimmy, Eddie, and the many others I'm forgetting right now. None of whom I've had a problem with.

I guess when people are so desperate they pull some desperate moves. Maybe the economy has pushed people too far. I don't know. All I know is that if this type of stuff continues, there won't be a dealership to be found anywhere, and if there is, you won't like the pricing or structure at all compared to today. I might be changing some policies in the future based on these incidents for new customers, I'm not sure yet.

Sorry to hear Ken.

I've been burned a few times but never for that kind of money, I can't imagine how pissed you must be.

Yep it's a small world, and what goes around comes around. I'm a full believer of that. Cheap is one thing, I deal with that on a daily basis and can appreciate that to some extent, but criminal and dishonest is quite another. I know you were just joking though.

I wonder if either of these two, whom I have never heard will respond to this. Seems RR1000 just joined in September.

If you ain't with us, then it's just bad news.

It's pointless now, but after everything is settled there will be a lot more commenting from me for sure. As far as my personal impression of the two, Omid is a fucking cheap jackass and deserves to have his ass beat. I'm sure that will happen from somebody he uses and screws over for the last time. Chris seems like a nice kid, but is probably getting bad advice or help from his mom. That is just off the top of my head.

Yeah right? I called him this morning, and he said he "has nothing to do with it", but I asked his personal opinion of what's happening, and he didn't have one, so that about says it all to me. Sounds like mom has the balls in the family.

I have already thought about doing something like that on a national level. There are so many fuckwads in this sport that something needs to be done for the local businesses to protect themselves. I was thinking of a way to do a database of fuckwads for businesses to list people they won't do business with any longer and why. Businesses can update the database with every fuckwad so they can be referenced in the future and identified for future transactions if necessary. Sort of like the ebay feedback thing but going the other way.

Best of luck with the BS lawsuits...growing up in a family that owned and operated a bar business in/near the City I know first hand what kind of frivolous bullcrap people will throw at you.

damn those fuckers!

Eventually things like this force you to institute new policies or change how you deal with CLSB people so you can keep the doors open. Damn those bastards and I hope you win out in whatever happens. You need to stay open because I'm sure there's an R6 oil pan drain plug gonna strip sometime!

Well that all sucks. Hope it works out for you though. Good Luck!

Life has no instruction manual. Parts and labor can be impossible to find. Many go down the road with parts that are in need of service. A breakdown is eventual.

I lawsuit or chargeback can be started at any time, regardless of when they pay.

What are some reasons for a chargeback that you see in general retail or your line of business?
