my new shop

So this week i should be starting in a brand spanking new dealership. i was there today and they are getting the finishing touches on the place hopefully to open this week or next. i should have grabbed more pics but this place is fucking amazing. the show room is massive and so nice inside, they can prolly fit 20+ cars in the showroom.

-full cafe, with ice cream bar
-fully automated car wash thats open 7 days a week

the shop;
fully climate controlled, 24 lifts, 2 alignment racks, plus two quick lube lifts

as you can see, its HUGE!

So who's job was it to get all those lifts at exactly the same height? I would have went and moved just one slightly to piss people off.

oh and all those roof top units gave me a woody. couple hundred grand right there.

Nice place! It's looking/sounding like a Lexus dealership. Those floors are going to be slick as shit on ice in no time. Be careful homey. Once the place opens for business, post some pics of those counter girls

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

Alex, is it one lift per mechanic? Where is the dealership at exactly? My in laws have a place down there and just bought a 2011 Jeep to drive when they are down there. It would be nice if I knew somebody to tell them where to take it.

That's pretty cool.. I bet its going to be nice to have a brand new work area that isn't all greasy and filthy yet.
Have you seen the BMW dealer in Naperville? I installed all of their doors and saw them working on it. All the lifts are in the floor and there has to be over 50 of them. All techs have their own built in tool cabinets and they have brand new laptops at their work stations. There is also a cool elevator that you can send up to get specific tires and it will bring them down for you.
