New Years - Out of the Box Ideas?

Trying to plan New Years...but coming up with nothing.

- House parties. Been there.
- The Improv. Been there.
- More house parties....been there.

Anybody have any cool out of the box ideas for New Years? Anything cool "parties" going on downtown?

Watcha got?!?

We used to go to parties hosted by local banquet halls. Usually pretty economical and a good time. If you haven't done something like that, might be worth checking out.

You can also plan a skiing trip...Devil's Head or one of the many places in MI will do and the cost will be reasonable.

We haven't made final plans yet.

A cabin or just a hotel room and some skiing is near the top of our list.

We don't necessarily have to, or want to party big time. I could actually use a little bit of a vacation right now so chillaxing on the slopes would be nice.

Last year my girl and I did the 'poseidon adventure' at the music box theatre. It was cheesy and weird, but in a good way. They encourage people to yell out lines (think 'rocky horror' style).

But, more importantly: The day before (Dec 30th: midnight movie)
Alien: the Director's cut. Oh yeah!

Anyhow, we're going to Martyrs to see Tributosaurus as 'Prince' for the late show.
Now, where did I put my dancing shoes?
