Need Vendors for a Quince...

In an effort to support our CLSB members, I would like to know if there are photographers, DJs, etc. here on the board that would be available/interested in helping with a Quince in December of 2012.... if so, post up, please!

The real art of conversation is not only to say the right thing at the right time, but also to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.

Quinceañera (lit. meaning One (f.) who is fifteen), sometimes called "Fiesta de quince años", "Fiesta de Quinceañera", "Quince años" or simply "quince", is the celebration of a girl's fifteenth birthday in parts of Latin America and elsewhere in communities of immigrants from Latin America. This birthday is celebrated differently from any other birthday, as it marks the transition from childhood to young womanhood.[1] The celebration, however, varies significantly across countries, with celebrations in some countries taking on, for example, more religious overtones than in others.

My brother-in-law DJs in a bunch of the clubs in the burbs and Chicago. He'll do weddings and parties as well, but he's not free. If you're interested just PM me.

Thanks for the definition, Andy! I wasn't sure how to reply without opening myself up for some "funny" commentary. Now, are there any vendors on the board that would be interested in quoting prices for the event?

Photographers
Florists
DJs
etc

Eric, Lonely Raven did the photography for my daughters Quince. I loved the work he did. Very good price also.

People take these things too seriously!

Where will the event take place? My mom does flowers and a buddy of mine has a bakery. Both are on the southside, but do some work north of the city.

It is a little bit of a hike, but they did before, typically it depends on the advance notice and size of the order.

I do some photography work myself and should be open next December. Feel free to look over my stuff and PM/email me if you like. I'm sure we can work something out for you that is very reasonable.
