suweet electric

very nice.

137mph, almost 100miles on a charge, '...ride-by-wire throttle, a brace of radial-caliper Brembo disc brakes, Ohlins suspension, digital multifunction LCD dashboard and LED lights...'

one of the nicer electrics i've seen

every electric vehicle is technically drive by wire, even a razor mx350, and i'm very skeptical about 100 miles on a charge in real world conditions, but i have seen something years ago about an electric drag bike that was fast so i'll believe the top speed claim, the others i'll believe when i see it function in real life, day after day

Yeah, until there's a quick charge system that can function equally in all temperature ranges they'll remain a novelty for around town head turning.

Cool technology, but a ways off for practical applications.

right... then you've got chip yates but with a hideous battery pack that looks like a pizza delivery bike on steroids.

hahahahahahahaha

dude i remember reading about electric cars and how they were so quiet, people couldn't hear them comin down the road. so there was a more 'natural' sound added so it wouldn't be so odd to people.

interesting to not hear an exhaust note coming from a bike...

I think this was actually passed in to law after a number of people got hit by electric cars and claimed not hearing them as part of the reason.

Life has no instruction manual. Parts and labor can be impossible to find. Many go down the road with parts that are in need of service. A breakdown is eventual.

I can't wait for these to become affordable ($10K for a dirtbike is a little out of my wheelhouse). This is probably my best shot at getting to ride Buffalo. If you can't be fast enough to get away, be silent enough to avoid detection!
