Need Help Moving a Bed in McHenry Tomorrow

I hate to do this, but I'm stuck for options. I was supposed to help my brother move a couch (a really light one) and a bed (not so light) into his new place in McHenry today but the weather screwed us. I'm heading out of town tomorrow evening and there's no way I can get up there to give him a hand.

We've reached out to everyone we know up that way and I can't get anyone! So...can anybody spare 20 mins to help him get the stuff off of his truck and into the apartment? It's a first floor house set up...nothing to it.

My eternal gratitude and a bunch of beer are in the mix.

Thanks in advance.

Tom

Do we know whoever got that Santa Fe Speedway billboard?

Ryan and I were going to try and get it but it was way too big to get on the trailer.

That was one hell of a drunk plan we hatched that night. We would have ended up in jail if we followed through on it .

I hope that sign didn't end up in a dumpster.

whats worse is knowing how close it was when I was a kid. Always thought it was an hour away. Do the family trip and get on the highway and I would see the sign and say "iz wanna go there and see racing"

Hubs junkyard is gone now too. thats about a mile from the track.

I went a bunch of times as a kid but unfortunately never went for any of the motorcycle racing since my dad wasn't into bikes. It was still cool going for the stock car races and demolition derbys. No matter where you sat in the stands you were going to get pelted with balls of clay .

The flat track races were great because so many of the pro guys were there every week. With so many races in the midwest, if they were within a decent drive they'd come up and run. It was like a grand national most weeks!
