new camara... humm?

I was doing some fiberglass work on my last years crashed Hot Bodies and was thinking I could fiberglass in a pocket for the go pro as we have 2 of them here at work. Right in the nose of the upper faring. The darn thing is so large tho and awkward tho so I started looking online for other cameras.

http://contour.com/products/contour-plus < this guy uses high resolution like the GoProHD and has a wireless mode. WTF This would be sleek enough to be molded into the the nose. it's a little steep on price. Can you imagine having a laptop, monitor or connection to live racing at the track?

I would be happy with the $199 version I guess... except the switch is on top and might be hard to turn on and off. Thought someone would know more about this stuff than me.

I have a couple contours, they are pretty badass. Just know that it takes atleast a grand I think to get the live connection your talking about.

The contour GPS can be used to overlay things like you speed onto your video. It also connects to iphones and Androids to get a wireless viewfinder. The ROAM can't do this.

Not sure what you can do about reaching the recording switch

I went to REI today to look at the housing and polycarbonate exo skeleton. I bet I could fiberglass in the external skeleton into the upper housing. The switch on top doesn't turn on the camera? I guess there is a button in the back that turns on and off the camera?
