parked in front of fire hydrant

So, I go ask who's car it is parked in front of the fire hydrant. This guy I never saw before says it is his. "Could you please move it?" I ask. "Yeah" he says.
Then as I walk back into the garage I hear him say, "Screw the old dude, I'll park in front of the driveway."
My neighbor across the street is renting the house out until it sells. If I got to put up with this crap, who knows what will happen.

I've taken a floor jack and moved a car into the middle of the street. That usually gets the cops attention in a hurry!

Im sorry for your loss but what does it have to do with parking in front of a hydrant - you do know that if a fire breaks out and a car is in front of it they break the fuggin window to run a hose through the car if need be. So fuck the car owner, its not worth it.

All i know is theres too many assholes out there that might tell you to fuck off and then shoot your ass, so just watch out.

Seriously? That's how you reply after your first stupid comment? I hope you never lose your home or family to a fire.

So parking in front of a hydrant is responsible for people dying in house fires? Are you for real? How do you make the connection? is this Chick logic or something - Hmm if i park in front a of a fire hydrant someones house will ignite and the fireman wont be able to put out the fire - usually by the time fire trucks get there theya re already gone by smoke inhalation.

Talk about dumb shit comments.

So let me ask you how hard is it to break a car window and open up a door? How long would it take you to do that? 8 secs, 8 mins, 60 mins? if it took you longer than 8 secs than you need your man card revoked.

not really, its pretty simple. Law requires you dont park in front of the hydrant.

an 8 year old can comprehend this.

My personal safety comes into question when it takes fireman an additional 8 seconds to do their job.

No trolling asking a simple question, yes there is no parking in front a a hydrant because of lack of easy access and mainly due to being able to find one, but i beleive code dictates one hydrant at least every 500 ft or something. I just thought the correlation of parking in front of a hydrant causes people to get harmed in fires is total chick logic.

You're right, it is a law that Butch is not in a position to enforce. People don't like to listen to cops when they enforce laws. Do you think they give a shit what Butch has to say? Which goes back to Tnat's first post...don't fuk with people.

like trky said dont say a word, just get out your 760 pellet gun and quietly blow out their windows, throw your feces at it, fling choad on their door handle and leave a flyer on their window so after they open their door and sit down they look on windsheild and the note says you just got my choad all over your hand.

im not defending parking in front of hydrants as it is against the law and when i lived in chicago i did it as there was no fuggin parking at 1 am when i got home from work. I just think in todays nut job society its best to keep the ego in check and shut your mouth.

Alright.

So you guys are back to the nanny state to take care of everything.

With your logic Butch should have ran in his house and called them to do the simple request of asking them to move their car. You are too much of a sally and scared of people. grow a pair and Harden the fuck up.

I know that this is not necessarily the forum to come to for sensitivity guys. BUT, for the record:

Butch lost family (sister, niece and brother-in-law) to a house fire.
Greg lost his house this year to fire, and dogs as well. He isn't even back in his house yet.

Both are very familiar with fires, and the damage that they cause, as I know that many of us are. How about a little support for these guys?

How about some pranks or suggestions on how to keep folks from parking in front of fireplugs?

For me, I'd call the cops. And call the cops, and call the cops, incessantly until they resolve the issue. If the guy doesn't like it, tough cookies.

I kinda liked the post about rolling the car into the middle of the street.
And THEN call the cops!
