I don't know if Gus is still selling that green Yamaha, but that's a cafe worth buying. Not so sure about this one, over $4g's for a "basic" cafe is too much IMO.

Ridiculously overpriced! I see nothing on that bike that justifies that price...The VinMoto lists in Chicago, Milwaukee, and Indy have good running examples of mid 70's UJM fours being sold at half the price. You could also find some good bikes of that vintage at Walneck's swaps, but those might need some work.
The most important rule when looking for a vintage bike of any kind is to be patient. The right bike at the right price is out there.

Also just an FYI guys he is not looking for anything in the smaller cc range. 750cc min.

while I may agree with you that the savages are garbage that conversion kit is pretty sweet - its a shame they used that bike and not one of the larger vtwins. But the finished product on that conversion is a pretty nice looking motorcycle. It won't be very quick and it will sound like ass but it looks pretty good.

I have a VT1100 that with some lower bars and such would be well within that price range.

Tell your bro to go look at Gus's cafe bike. Custom CB750... That thing is built right, runs good and is worth the money he wants for it. Besides having to change a tail light bulb every once in a while that thing is bullet proof and runs just fine.

This. That bike is setup right and you know it's been built and maintained by someone who knows what he's doing. I've ridden it and it runs and rides great.
