Chinatown. I only like the steamed buns fresh, so I eat them at dim sum. Phoenix is pretty good. If you're taking them to go, the baked bow is the way to go. St. Anna's bakery is my pick.

I'm a fan of both Phoenix and Triple Crown in Chinatown. The latter is nice since they serve dim-sum during "off hours" and it's made to order.

nm mis read your post, just google it maybe joeis or something? they have like 3-4 locations outside of china town

Chiu Quon Bakery and Cafe in Chinatown on Wentworth.

I usually pick up a half dozen every now and then along with some mini custards.

except these buns are made slightly different from your recipe link. these are brushed with butter and bigger than the mini buns you posted.

you can probably pick some of the ones you posted in the frozen section of an asian grocery store and steam them at home
