Paging all CLSB bullsh*tters

So a buddy of mine had a date last night but he ended up oversleeping...by 6 hours. It was supposed to be a first date over dinner.

He woke up to some not so friendly text messages.

His dumb ass still hasn't responded yet.

How would CLSBers do damage control for this screw up?

Deep thinkers needed. I'm looking at you WSE.

He's fucked. I would apologize and move on. If she happens to want to give him another chance then go from there but I would expect it to be over.

A buddy of yours, huh?

Given you didn't have the balls to respond upon waking up, and it's a day later now, you've already blown all chances of getting blown by this gal.

Apparently your buddy isn't man enough to handle his own business, sounds like a good thing for her to find out one the first date

go time traveler style and go back in time, fuck his grandma, then shoot forward in time and then fuck his mom. Then return back to present state and call him a the product of two incest whores and hes your son and show video of you plowing the both members of his family. .

First date huh? He's done a lot of damage here. Is there any reason he doesn't want to move on and find another girl to have a first date with?

Is this girl special, or for some other reason worth trying to clean-up this mess? If not, probably easier to apologize (he should probably do that, at least), and move on.

If he wants to take this girl out, I don't think this is anything an old fashioned phone call + explanation + apology can't fix. Sure it'll be uncomfortable, but probably the best way to fix the problem. No excuses, just an honest phone call.

the above responses are coming from people who are married or people who never had much success with women. shit happens.

i say he calls her, not texts. says that he just left the sprint store or what ever carrierr he has and says that he just got a new phone as the last was damaged or lost or fell in water. you can also say that you just looked up the numbers that you called lately on the phone call list from sprint and they are a day or 2 late. but you tried calling her right away but called others by mistake frst since you dont know numbers by heart. say you are sorry and hope you can make it up to her.

What's the problem....call her, be honest and if she doesn't think you are telling the truth..move on. Done and done

Biggest issue is not calling the second you woke up....so most likely your are SOL no matter what you say...but give it a shot

To add some perspective, he's a Med school student and studies like hell. That's the real reason he fell asleep and missed the date.

I'll tell him to say that and see where it goes.

That depends on what he wants from her. Does he just wants to hit it and quit it, or does he actually like her personality and wants a relationship?

Starting out the relationship with a lie is damn good start! Bullshit is what gets men through relationships. As I stated in the other thread. I'm getting married in 1.5 months. It's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.
