Considering that there is no 'SL600 with AMG', I'd say you got what you were looking for. And anyone buying a car on promises from a dealer is going to be disappointed.

Hey, David W Bates (of 3700 E Elm Rd, Oak Creek, WI 53154 (414-766-1646), karma is a Bitch isn't it?

Let's see..you did time for social security fraud and currently are under investigation for CC scams.

Furthermore, your business has a grade of F from BBB due to shit load of customer complaints.

Complaint #1:

February 1, 2010.

I have talked with only David (Nicholas) Bates, who I believe is the owner. I placed my order with David over the phone on December 18th, 2009 and was assured my product (soda system) would arrive by Christmas Eve. My credit card was charged on Dec. 23.

I still do not have my soda system as of today, February 1, 2010.

David has been easy to communicate with, has always answered my emails and phone calls until a week ago when he stopped all communications.

Every time he communicated anything to me, it was always assuring me that my product was on its way and he had personally "double boxed it" and even went as far as giving me a tracking number for the shipment. That shipment has never left his facility according to UPS's website (shows billing info received only). First, David claimed he shipped the soda system to me and claims it must have been lost in transit, although he never had a tracking number for it. He has said rediculous things such as, "I think UPS has to[sic] much to deliver cause[sic] I'm waiting on a[sic] order of mine[sic] own. And UPS has told me due to volume and bad weather they are trying their best." or "I think they got over loaded and set boxes to the side".

I have many many emails from David of promise after promise that my (now "2nd") machine is built, tested, double-boxed, and on it's way. I have talked to my credit card company about disputing the transaction and we will be getting that started this week. This guy is unbelievable. After he tells me he is shipping me a second machine, he tells me if they both show up, to just send one back! AS-IF he actually sent one, let alone two of them!

Complaint #2

You are dealing with a professional scam artist. I always research before I do business with a company, and suggest you check out the owner of this one first. If you check his government record according the state listed on his web site, you will find he served time for social security fraud(if you live in WI, he wasted your tax dollars, so you want to give him more?). He is also under investigation for credit card fraud. Sorry about your experience with DBEntertainment, I hope it gets resolved and that you learn never to do business again, and word of mouth will help protect others from such shady organizations.

Btw, I hear your ex-wife was banging the local PD while embezzling money behind your back.

Have fun with the SL!

You better be nice to America or we will bring democracy to your country.

and yea, nice a 848. .... that might have been cool back when they didnt build bikes like the desmo, the 1098, 1198, 1199, streetfighter.... oh wait they build a few of them before the 848....
And you came to piss at the wrong people's leg... I challenge you any day to a "real man ride" on a duc of your choice against your 848. ( did you at least get an Evo? )

I once took off on a Golf cart with the sandwich that belonged to the Sales Manager at Chicago Motor cars at a SCCA event at Road America. ( I forgot his name, he was a douche and he got upset...)

Patfitz is right, there is no SL600 AMG. All AMG models have a two digit designation. If it was a SL600 AMG, it may have had upgraded suspension, brakes, body kit, chrome exhaust tips lol or some combination of those. It the suspension or brakes were AMG, it would have been blatantly obvious, a simple test drive would have confirmed it. You should have been a more informed buyer. I agree, a fool and his money are soon parted.

EDIT I forgot rims, they make AMG badged rims. All you have to do there is look lol If the rim doesn't say AMG, guess what.

They did make an AMG package that you could get on the SL600 up until 2008 or 09.

I have a few real bikes , like many on this board . Get your head out of your ass and get a real bike yourself . An 848 is a great bike for people who cant ride a 1098 . I know plenty of SV650 riders that can lap your 848 with one hand .

Yes that package is only brakes, suspension, body kit, and maybe rims.

The big thing here is any Mercedes AMG buyer should know that AMG models have a two digit designation. Considering it was a 600, the buyer should have known to look for the kit to verify.

This would be comparable to buying a claimed Ducati 1098 S or R and not looking for the forks.

Needless to say, this guy is not the sharpest tool in the shed. Barnum said it best, "there is a sucker born every minute".
