Folding Chairs w Foot Rest

Anyone know a good place to buy a pair of the collapsable folding chairs that have the foot rest built into them? I remember seeing them all the time at track days, and haven't been able to find them.

I don't really care to blind buy off line not knowing the quality, so I'm looking for a couple of recommendations. I'd prefer to see one in person, but if someone has one they love let me know where you got it.

Ciao,
Lupi

I had tried a couple of places like Dicks, Target, Home Depot and none of them had ones with foot rests.

Again, I'd prefer to see the quality in person, or get one that's highly recommended.

I'll look again. last year it was late in the season when I tried, so maybe they just weren't carrying them then.

they're great for sleeping but regular ones are better for every day use as they're easier to get out of.

Check out the Eddie Bauer line at Target. We've had a few that lasted several years.

The (2) i have purchased from ebay have been in the $40 range and have been used for 3 seasons now without ANY issues - Folding, unfolding, applying pressure to the arms to push my fully race geared old ass up and out of, zero issues - No rips or bends

I concur with the foot rest being a PITA and never really even used mine

Check out CVS or similar. Picked up a couple about 6 years ago for a steal and they are still in good shape. As far as the foot rest, it serves it's purpose for longer chilling sessions, but getting up every 10 minutes for a fresh beer requires more effort. Lol

Big selling point for me on the foot rest versions is that they are more reclined. The standard ones I have make you sit really straght up in the chair, and are uncomfortable to me for reclining.

Thanks for the heads up on a few places. Time to go shopping.

These aren't exactly what you're looking for but they are way more comfortable and sturdy than those bag chairs. They recline and lock at any angle from straight up to almost all the way layed down. Only downside is they're not as easy to transport. The extra $10 for the "XL" wider ones is worth it too. They're also on sale now. I got the last 3 wide ones last week at the Hoffman Estates Cabelas. I was waiting for them to go on sale since I sat in Steves at Road America last June. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Cabel...h-All+Products

Yes - G2G has 2 of them and we fight over sitting rights with them in the pits

I'll stab a motherfucker in the neck if they don't get out of my good chair. That's how good these chairs are.
