Which car should I get?

This is a tough call, it's definitely going to see some track time. Here are my choices, I have about 100k to spend, but I'd like to save a nice chunk for tires, wiper fluid, and catalytic converters.

1) '87 Yugo

2) '72 Cadillac coupe de ville

3) '74 VW Bus

They all really have their strengths and weaknesses, but right now I'm leaning towards the Caddy for just shear power. I'm aiming for 1.10's at Blackhawk.

either the caddy or the vw bus.

caddys are kewl because its the v8 and simple to work on

and u cant go wrong with a bus. You can always stroke it and get 250hp.

For track time.... I think the Yugo will handle the best. Lots of aftermarket out of Russia. Plus it's in mint condition...like the day it rolled off the line in Sarajevo (sp?).

Did you consider a Le Car?

I would go with the VW bus, just because I had one, only a newer model. It was fun to drive especially during winter.

Get the Yugo. Make a custom tube chassis for it, get a Buick GNX turbo motor. Modify a 12bolt rear to use Yugo rims, widen the rims to 6-7". Make the car look BONE STOCK other than a slightly wider rear tire. Imagine the look on kids in mustangs and mullet mobiles whena Yugo blows their doors off.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Well, I thank everybody for the input. I think the Yugo might be in the lead, but the caddy does have the pimp factor.

Then again, why buy an M3 or a Viper when you can get a VW Bus??

I base all my decisions on the size of the steering wheel. In this case...VW Bus hands down. Enjoy.

Besides, with the powersteering on the Caddy, you'd have to spin the wheel 15 times to negotiate T1!
