Competition for Beats headphones.

A new Rapper throws his hat into the ring in the world of high end headphones.
First it was Dre with Monster Beats (huge success) and now it's 50 with SMS Streets

Read a couple reviews, they are suppose to sound good.
In any case, I was really impressed by where some of the profits are going. Who would have thought......
Looks for every .com direct purchase they are buying 250 meals for American families.

High priced I listed to the beats before, I thought they sound pretty good. I am sure they are not the best though. Have a friend who does DJ stuff and he swears by some $300 Pioneers.

"Dre Beats Suck.....iPhones Suck....Apple Sucks....Track Only" - Those horses are DEAD, let 'em be....

I love my Beats both Over the ear Studio and the ear buds I use constantly for music and cell - I have owned more headphones than I care to admit and I put these right up there with anything out there today

Oh and DJ'ing makes not an exert in "Ear Goggles"

Dre= Over Priced and bloated bass sound. Dres would be a good headphone for $100-150... But for that price you can get some excellent sounding headphones.

I have found two bands to be excellent tests of headphones - Pink Floyd & Boston - Pick either of these two tunes to "test" headphones and experience the entire range of sound - Had them both on my iPhone and used them to test many a headphone before I bought both sets of my Beats

and play this one LOUD

I've got these coming in this week. Hopefully they are good since I can't afford the Seinnheiser that I want.

They are supposed to be competition for the Beats and other hip cans that are being pushed these days.

In the price range of the Beats? - Sony, Shure, and Bang & Olfusen - To me, the Beats hit the entire spectrum of sound better and the bass is by no means "bloated" as you say - Hate this song but if you REALLY want to test Bass mixed in with Vocals...

Yea I am not much of a fan of any of those. The Shures are good for in ear and some noise attenuation. Ultrasone HFI's fit my taste and budget. Wish I could afford to drop the big bucks on the edition 8's but life is life and headphones are not at the top of the list of needs. Some Sennheisers sound good to me too.

a few year ago, when I was an audiophile, I drop almost $300 on Etymotic ER-4P. It was between that or Shures, but I don't regret the purchase. They are pure, accurate and isolate outside noises.
