Another Useless Thread

Since I haven't been very active on this forum lately I figured I'd make up for lost time and make another useless thread...

I bought a KLR 650!

To pick it up I took a bus at 3:00am from Iowa City to Omaha Nebraska... and rode it back on the highway (without any sleep) through some ridiculous wind. I won't be doing that again any time soon.

That is all.

Your a trooper. I can't sleep when I'm excited about things. It's really annoying.

Yea yours is a bit more kit'ed out than mine. I'm moving back to downtown Chicago in the next couple weeks and I figured this would be a great bike for when I have to leave it on the street visiting friends or w/e... b/c if it was dropped or stolen I wouldn't care that much unlike the D675.

klr is a good puttzing bike. Dropping it, or beating up on it does not make you feel bad. They are not the nicest, ugly as sin, technologically down on everything and yet still super popular. Gotta hit up some trials with it next!

I enjoy it, but I don't think I could get as attached as I am to the Triumph.

I love my klr. These things are a "jack of all trades, yet master of none" bike.
