Yes fire them all.

I have family members that are Chicago public school teachers. My daughter is currently in University to become a Chicago Public school teacher.

Heard some of this from family and some on the radio

Chicago Teachers avg salary 74K
Some of the best benefits of any teachers in the US
They turned down a 16% increase over 4 years.
One of the items that they are striking about is how they are evaluated.
The evaluations are something that they had previously agreed to and helped to draft the evaluation requirements. It is also supposed to be illegal for them to strike over this topic. Not sure exactly how that works but that is what they mentioned on the radio.

Prior to this year they worked the shortest school day of teachers in any major US city.

Out of major cities in the US there are only 4 that produce worse results. Now they count such cities as Columbus Ohio and Champaign, Il in the group of major cities.

Drove by a bunch of them this morning as they were picketing. They were asking folks to beep their horns in support. I didn't hear any horn beeping. I got stopped at a light next to them and simply suggested that they get back to work. They all started swearing at me. Total class. These are the folks teaching our children.

Damn. I need to quit Wink's company and become a CPS teacher!

You better be nice to America or we will bring democracy to your country.

400k students, 30k teachers, 13 students / teacher, at least they aren't complaining about class size.

Karen Lewis should lose some weight or be fired. She is unfit to do her job.
