How much coverage? (Insurance)

I was reviewing my policy with Progressive the other day, and realized that while the cost was low ($250/year), I wasn't sure if the coverage would actually make a dent in the bills if I were involved in an accident.

How much coverage do you feel is appropriate? I'm not overly aggressive, and take very few risks when riding, and always wear my gear.

I can't remember what mine was. I think 100k/100k/100k. I decline the medical cause I have medical insurance already. It's so cheap I just get as much as they'll give me without getting rediculous.

Think I've got 100/300/100 or something like that. I dunno.

I have 100/300/100 also. WI min is 25/50/25K. Hell hit a mid size car and total it and you'll still end up paying out of pocket.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Ive got the 100/300 w/e the rest is, but I also got the medical because with CC you get $10,000 instead of the lame $1000 like SF has and I got it for passenger purpose even though right now I don't have a passenger at the moment

I am assuming you are talking about coverage on your bike.

I have 250/500 liability and UIM(Underinsured Motorist Coverage).

UIM coverage is really important if you are in an accident with another driver(who it at fault) and they have low liability limits.

It really does not cost much to raise your limits from 100/300 to 250/500.

Yeah, I was just referring to my bike. On my car I have 100/300, but when I was looking at my bike policy, it was only 10/10... which seemed completely ridiculous.

whoa...i've never known them to have that high of medical with bike insurance. most i've ever heard of is 2000$ and that costs a lot to get because you can have a lot of medical bills iwth bikes...so the price goes way up.
