help - looking for hi tech phone

To all the super geeks, the other night I saw a new phone with a very nice browser, PDA, etc. I saw it on tech tv, but forgot what it was. I hate the trio, it looks lame.

I have the sanyo picture phone now, but am ditching sprint next month. The camera sucks, and the browser is lame. Any ideas what this phone was? It has to be brand new, because I have not seen it before.

Could it possibly be the Motorola MPx200? Works with AT&T service and is a microsoft enable smartphone? Also you can look at Microsofts website they have all the smartphone hardware listed.

Other than that check Palms site. Typically most smartphones now are powered by one of those two. Microsoft PocketPC Phone edition or the Palm OS.

If it was the same show I saw yesterday, it was the Treo600. The guy took a pic of his dog with it if memory serves? Black with a black and silver keypad. That lawyer guy was using it for email etc. Looked to me to be the best animal out there. If you got a thing against the Treo's it might not be for you though. Good luck!

I have the nokia 3300 - wouldn't really recommend it. Horrible phone actually with some nasty bugs and the thing that pisses me off the most is the headphone connector. Touch the connector once and the headphones stop working and you gotta unplug them and see if they will hopefully work this time.
Unfortunately it's too late to return it now.

I have a Treo 180 and would love to get the 600 but I can tell you the bulky design pays off with it's seemless integration of PDA to phone. Plus the keypad makes entering data into it VERY easy and much faster than any other input method I've seen implemented into a PDA/Phone type device. It really depends on what you want it for.

If you just want to syn contacts from your PC to your phone, and use it as a phone and a viewing method for the other data then that Motorola phone is probably it.

But if you actually want to enter data into the device while on the go, or update information that is in there from your pc the keyboard is key. But along with a keyboard comes a bigger device. Also if you do anykind of IM's or 2-Way paging then you will find the keyboard really makes or breaks the device.

Just my .02 I bought the Treo 180 and have been using it for probably close to a year now and have yet to see any device that integrates all the features and functionality as well as it does.

Tony, you will be glad when you get your phone to. I just bought one and love. The key pad makes this phone to as well as the size. I can take care of emails, surff the web and so much more.
