negative never the same person and 3/4 of the time they give the wrong mail anyhow

Plus why tip them we already tip them with a 50g job a year plus benifits

go time traveler style and go back in time, fuck his grandma, then shoot forward in time and then fuck his mom. Then return back to present state and call him a the product of two incest whores and hes your son and show video of you plowing the both members of his family. .

They do anyways. Ours even left us a Christmas card a few weeks ago, which I'm sure was just a subtle suggestion to leave her a tip .

Yes.

Lots of people get paid a salary. I can't see that as a reason not to tip.

No.

The only things the mail person brings me are bills and junk mail.

Its like tipping a police officer for giving you a ticket.

The mail person did not generate those bills or mail them, they are just doing their job and delivering them. A police officer stops you, does not get smitten by your excuse, and decides to write the ticket. He or she may not have written the laws they are enforcing, but they can use their judgement to not pull you over or let you off with a warning.

I think if they go above and beyond the minimum requirements to do their job then sure. Mail ghetto chick, no, UPS guy, yeah. I got his cell number and he calls me if I have something on a monday to see if it's important or not. It's worth it to me.

Exactly. They are just doing their job. Do you tip everyone for doing their job?

Im not gonna give them a little more, ya know, for the effort.

Point taken, but I do not consider it a tip, but a gift. Just like I tipped or gave a gift to our cleaning lady. It is all just being nice in the season.

I was just saying what I did. If you don't want to tip the mailman you don't have to. It's not a crime not to tip.

The mailman is a bit different than the phone guy. How often is the phone guy going through weather to come fix you phone? I haven't seen my phone guy in over 20 years. ComEd? I haven't seen a ComEd guy in over 20 years. Fedex is a bit different. They drive to your door only when you have ordered something typically and paid a premium price to have it delivered. They are not walking door to door daily like your mailman.

Do what you want. El Cheapo

I guess it would be nice if you knew them or made small talk otherwise not really or give them a tip after Christmas to get rid of gifts you don't want LOL. Plus in my situation the mail man always parks one house to the left of mine and delivers the mail in an order of my house being the last one, it sucks when your waiting something.

I've been meaning to, but I don't see them, and the trash can is not a good place to leave an envelope with a gift.
