blah thats nothing. Ive been to almost all the poultry plants in teh south east. The kill rooms and evisceration rooms were the worst. Chickens stink to begin with anyway. Red meat packing houses are not much better, but I found the poultry plants to be less unpleasant.

Ever smell a Tannery while they are making leather? - That is a smell that no shower can clean off

Videos like this actually made make an effort to eat less meat. Mainly because unless my life depended on it, I couldn't really kill an animal by hand to eat it. I'm kind of a pussy, and I felt like a hypocrite. I fucking love meat so I can't give it up entirely, but I try to avoid it a couple days each week.

This is the actual video that made me start doing this

I'm willing to bet that slaughterhouses have changed a lot since your dad worked in one.

The life expectancy for a chicken from egg to slaughter is only 56 days.
