Bears name Marc Trestman as head coach.

Wow, interesting choice. He's a 180 degree change from Smith.

Now if we can just get an offensive line and keep the defense together for a few more years.

There is nothing firm, nothing balanced, nothing durable in all the universe. Nothing remains in its original state, each day, each hour, each moment, there is change. Change is the essence of life. Embrace change as you do life. To fight change is to live in the past.

wont change the fact they cant be finishers in the second half of the game or season.

They start out strong until the middle point then fall on their asses

go time traveler style and go back in time, fuck his grandma, then shoot forward in time and then fuck his mom. Then return back to present state and call him a the product of two incest whores and hes your son and show video of you plowing the both members of his family. .

Oh come on. Don't dash my semi-delusional hopes so quickly.

Out of the three finalist I liked the choice. From the start I guess we knew that the Bears wouldn't think big and maybe make a run for a proven coach. A Jon Gruden or Bill Cowher perhaps. So they were going to be stuck going on the cheap and looking at coordinators or a guy from the CFL that has NFL experience. I didn't care too much for the three finalist simply because they weren't that big name proven coach. At least the guy they picked has been a head coach. He has coached some good QBs. Won two gray cups. The CFL is just so much different with the larger endzones and the receivers getting a running start to the line of scrimmage. Redzones don't get as compressed with those endzones so you can really run a lot of different plays than you can in the NFL.

Issue is this they are basing their team around a semi shitty quarter back from coach to the line. Last time i checked it start at the head man and went the other way. Cutler will never be a franchise q/b sad to say they should have fired him to

Cutler isn't the best QB but he is far from the worst. He has problems with throwing interceptions in the redzone that has never been corrected by the bears coaches because the coaches sucked and never improved players under lovie. The bears offensive players suck eggs beyond Marshall. Their offensive line is one of the worst in the league. A TE that was ranked as the 44th best. That means that every team has a TE that is better than ours and many have two TE's that are better than our starter. Then our starting running back while decent is not a short yardage back. He can get you some good gains but just as often gets to the line and turns his back and starts trying to backpedal to gain yards. So our QB has one receiver to throw to. No running game. No offensive line. No TE and had terrible coaching for player improvement and play calling. He's not Joe Montana but he's also not Trent Dilfer.

I'm OK with Jay too. He spends too much time on his ass to ever get comfortable and then tries to force everything. Give him a little more protection, a couple more weapons, and his stats will turn around. He certainly isn't the best in the league, but good enough for the job.
