I need a bike moved from New Lenox to Palos Hills

I'll PayPal you for your work in moving the bike. Yesterday my brother died, and he owned a HD 883 sportster. My mom is unable to move the bike, and it's in storage on Parker road (I'll get exact directions when I figure out a schedule for pick up). My mom would like it dropped off at her home in Palos Hills. She lives near 103rd and Roberts Road. Most things have been figured out as far as taking care of his things, but this is one I need help with. Again, I'm not looking for a handout, I'll gladly pay for your trouble. I'm trying to make this easy on my mom, none of us are doing well with this. Thank you in advance for your help.

Sorry for your loss Dave. I'll keep an eye on this thread, if someone who lives closer cannot help out, I should be able to borrow a trailer and move the bike for you.

Within the next couple of weeks/month. No rush to have it done. I guess storage is paid up until March or so.

Sorry to hear about your brother, Dave.

If for some reason you find you need to move the bike ASAP, I'd have no problems riding it from one location to the other. I unfortunately don't have a truck or trailer to transport a bike.

The bike doesn't have plates, and my brother was really bad about not maintaining his bike. Idk how safe it would be to ride.

Steve, thanks a ton. You may have remembered him when we went to high school. He graduated in '88.

Shelly, yikes! Hope you are okay!!!

Thank you for all the replies, text, and email. My brother was 43, 2.5 years older than me. He fought alcohol for a long time, and had been sober for 1.5 years. He moved to Arizona, partly to be on a shorter list for a liver. I am not a match for him, so he waited. He fell last week, and that progressed many problems. They were not able to stop his internal bleeding, and was not conscious the last two days of his life. He died with his wife there, and he went peacefully, leaving all of his pain behind. At least he is in a better place. Take care Paul. We have had our differences over the years, but I have always loved you. We will meet up again.

Sorry about your loss Dave. I think you know I lost my sister about 1.5 years ago. It sucks.

Steve, I've got my trailer at home. If you get tied up I can do it Sunday. I've got an open day.

First and foremost, my condolences to you and the rest of his loved ones. I will pray for you all.

Secondly, I am unemployed and have a truck. I'd be happy to help on your mother's schedule since mine is wide open. Let me know how I can help. I'll PM you my number.

Still tryin'....
