Felt Like CLSB Of Yore Today

I miss the debates - The name calling and hugging after wards - The FVOR talk and such as well

This place use to be SUCh a huge part of my life for years - Sad that so many have gone away but happy the core are still around - Made me visit YouTube for a stroll down CLSB Amnesia Lane

Most fun I ever had on the street thx to Jrock and the Lads

Jeffie making us all laugh

And I am sure there are many more - I miss the old CLSB

We never had the PTG bash, and stole the statues in his yard. And Streaker's party was epic!

Dealing with the popo on F4T, and Sqrly almost going to jail, or getting an ass whipping by the fuzz, whatever came first, lol!

He took it all with a grain of salt. The PTG avatars were the funniz. I almost applied for I HRT PTG for license plates for the Wonder Hyundai. Instead I settled for these.

Those plates give Firebretha a laugh every time.

Maybe some of us should get back to the basics LIKE MOTORCYCLES.

and drop the fucking guns and politics.

You guys feed the posts that are off motorcycle topic.

I could share a world of knowledge on motorcycles yet people are to busy with 536 posts on some fucking dog getting shot.

We offer three kinds of service @ Resurrection

Yeah it's not the same. I don't get on here that much and when I do I just lurk and don't post much. Just different conversations/arguments than before that I don't want to get involved in. Maybe I'm just getting older!

I get CLSB flashbacks too. I blame it on a miss spent youth and funny drugs. It will pass.

On the other hand, I should have most of my life changing CRAP behind me this spring and plan on spending more time playing in the dirt and street this year. I miss sliding around. I just hope I get some good news on my back.

Btw, some funny shit there. :

There is nothing firm, nothing balanced, nothing durable in all the universe. Nothing remains in its original state, each day, each hour, each moment, there is change. Change is the essence of life. Embrace change as you do life. To fight change is to live in the past.

I am also tired of the political posts. It would be nice to see the site go back to bike discussions. I am sure there are plenty of political and gun sites out there. That being said, if there is political news that is motorcycle specific or someone has a workout plan that can help with riding fitness, I am all ears. Since I just turned 50, I need all the fitness help I can get. Besides, I saw a post yesterday that said that I need to give up my license when I am 60 so, I don't have much time.

Take care and ride safe,
Brian

I haven't been around CLSB quite as long as some ...maybe most of you and even though I must admit I enjoy all the discussions here, I do agree I'd like to see and participate in more motorcycle threads.

We have the control...all we need to do is start the threads we want to see.

Also...I think Stanimal has hit on something...very few of us are riding right now...the wintertime blues and cabin fever has us in its grip!

"Dirt is for racing on...Asphalt is for getting there" OR "Flat trackers go in deeper and come out harder... OR (With apologies to General MaCarthur) "Old motorcycle racers never die, they just slip off the groove and fade into the dust!

If you want to anger a conservative, tell him a lie. To anger a liberal all one must do is tell the truth!

Maybe we need to set up 10-15 rides over the summer meeting at various locations. You have to go on just one to keep your CLSB forumship.

There would be exceptions for members who have moved. But if you live in Chicagoland then you should make at least 1. He'll, CP makes every bike night.
