Need Movers - City to Burbs

Like the title says, need a good moving company to haul my shit from the City to the burbs.

Anyone got a reputable lead?

I'll dig up the name of the outfit we used recently. The guys were nice (likely because they were all very stoned) and they didn't make any remarks about the box of sex toys that I had labeled "Sex Toys".

All in all they worked pretty quickly in spite of conditions and gave me a little break on the price at the end in exchange for some of the sex toys.

Win Win

Edit: http://www.thepromove.com/chicago-re...al-movers.html

They were chosen because they were cheap and could accommodate our move schedule. That said - no complaints.

Nice, i worked for mayflower movers for about 3 months and i saw some of the funniest shit, at least once a week we would find a dildo under a bed or behind a dresser the chick had forgot about and we had a rule the new guy would have to bring it up to the lady and ask her where we should put it, the look of horror on the womens faces was priceless!

We had this one time where one of the moving guys this huge 6-4 320lb old black dude had went out the night before and was still half drunk said he went out the night before and got lit up and and ate like 30 bbq chicken wings and went downstairs and took a shit - well he clogged the toilet and the shit just swirled around and blew out all over the ladies light colored almost white carpet in the bathroom as we were finishing up, dude closed the door and locked it trying to cover it up as we were almost outta there, well the lady goes down there to make sure everything is gone and we had to jimmy the lock open and when she walked in there she fuckin flipped as dude tried wiping the shit up and just smeared it more into the carpet - oh it was well worth the cost of the tip we lost to see this lady freak out! rich snobby cunt!

Hey Bug, I would recommend "Trade Movers". I can give my friend, Chris a heads up you need some help. I've known him as a friend before finding out about his company. If you are interested shoot me a PM and I'll give him a heads up about you, etc.

You might have seen him on TV, he's was on the news a few times for Trade Movers.

I used your buys at Breda - Fucking rocked and rolled they did - Had me out of my pad in 1.5 hours - They arrived at 9:40a and by about 11:15a we were in the road - Had my shit unloaded and put in place and out the door by 2p - Tipped them well too - Lil Upfront to get them on my side and then the tip at the end - My AT&T dude rocked my shit and the WiFi is flying - Tipped him too - Then threw some duckets at the Comcast dude and he called him boy and got my shit locked down too - I have a fuck ton of "Good Boxes" now too - Dude at UHaul hooked me up with "Left In Truck" boxes that are basically brand new - About $150 in boxes for a $20 tip - Felt like Lloyd Christmas throwing out tips all week
