Mad Cow! What are you eating for Christmas dinner?

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Verns Moses Lake Meats has voluntarily recalled 10,410 pounds of raw beef because of concerns the products may contain meat tainted with mad cow disease, the U.S. Agriculture Department said on Wednesday.

The USDA on Tuesday announced the first U.S. case of mad cow disease was found in a dairy cow in Washington state.

The raw beef products from the Moses Lake, Washington-based company "may have been exposed to tissues containing the infectious agent that causes bovine spongiform encephalopathy," the USDA said.

The USDA considers the recalled beef, which was produced on Dec. 9 and shipped to several processing plants, a low health risk.

RELAX!!!!!!!

Don't over react like the rest of the world It's an isolated case in Washington. The farm has been quaretined and places like Mcdonalds have never bought beef from there.

Forgot to say what I am having. Beef Tenderloin with all the trimmings. Not worried about an isolated incident on the West Coast. Sounds like they got it under control.

Okay actually the in-laws are cooking so it will either be ham or turkey

Thanks guys!!!!!

I'm watchin MCD's stock this morning. They opened down 8% and it's slowly creaping back. This may even be positive given the prices of beef lately with the atkins craze. Stock is only down 5% now
