I suppose I'll grow up one day, but not today.

There is nothing firm, nothing balanced, nothing durable in all the universe. Nothing remains in its original state, each day, each hour, each moment, there is change. Change is the essence of life. Embrace change as you do life. To fight change is to live in the past.

One was parked outside the GM plant yesterday. Funny they still had the body masking bras all over it. All the gates were locked. Still why there were people at teh GM plant during a holiday beats me and why have the car outside in full veiw of the street if its so 'top secret'?

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

The front end looks too much like a ricer. I'm still in love with the 70's style vette's. They had it right back then.

My bud has an 03 Z06 and he is pissed that the new ones are coming stock with 400...15 more than his....PLUS he really wanted something other than a coupe and stayed with the Z06 becasue of the engine. If he waited, he could have had a 400hp convertible.

My father has a 03 Z06 and is looking to upgraded the puter for more HP. Good thing I buy GM parts all day and have the GM performance catalog on my desk.

I love that new Vette. I really hadnt liked them at all through this current body style, but now I think they nailed the design. I would consider buying one.

but of course its not 4 wheel drive, cant tow for shit, and would never be able to haul a bike in the back

Sorry, but the '03 Z06 is 405 Hp.

I have to say that I'm incredibly happy with the Z06. After seeing pictures of the "top secret" C6, I can say I'm glad I didn't wait. I get to enjoy the Z06 and can always trade later if the mood stikes. Besides, I got a great deal on the '03 at the beginning of the '04 model year!

That's a sweet looking car, but not as radical a change as I expected given all the hype. It did strike me as Viper-like front and I like the curved flare added to the back.

The rebuilt suspension should be a welcome change, although the C5 hugs the road pretty well.

I like yours better, Dave. I've always had a problem with the updates on the vette's when they come out. As the year progresses, I get used to them and begin to appreciate them though. Kinda like the updates to the Ducati's.

The styling has lost soem of the unique qualities of the vette. Comming down the road, you mgiht think it's a Mitsubishi or a maybe even a Supra, until it came up close.

Also what is with the 4 speed auto??? isn't it about time they put a proper 5 speed on there. Lexus has had them for mroe than 4 years now on 300+ HP V8's and you can even get on on a $24k Toyota Camry V6.

Sounds like they at least finally got the traction control system sorted out for those that really want to have fun.
