Schweppe will fill it, but I don't know how much it is. I went to a paintball store. There is one in Aurora. They charged me like 5 bucks to fill it up. And it's a 5 lb-er too. It lasts forever, so you won't have to fill it very often. Paid like $120 for it at Schweppe like 4 years ago. Only had to fill it once. (and I drink a lot of beer!)

Paint the bottle red, then take it to the local fire department and tell them it's part of your homes fire suppression system and you'd like it refilled. Maybe they can help. Just don't tell them you're gonna be fightin' the fire with beer.

Thanks Jeff, Found out they will not refill my tank cause its out of date. Needs Hydro testing Tanks is stamped 1963 and has no safety or whatever they required in 1965.. 3 diff places told me the same thing. So i called dependable Fire X-Ting and all i did was tell the guy i will let him bid on tagging all my fire extings next year (200) if he could help me out.

Well Friday they will deliver me a new tank and filled for $40.00!

So everyone (BUT PJ) can drink soon!

So, now it's an up to date tank, so you can get it filled for $5 at the paintball store when it's empty?

Rick, so they actually fill it?

the place local to me only does exchanges. And i want to buy my own bottle from harbor freight instead of exchanges.

Go with exchanges. It's cheaper and the bottle will always be up to code. If a problem does develop.....it's their bottle. I had a acetelyne bottle leak on the last exchange I did. Took it right back and they gave me another bottle. Also not all places can fill all bottles. Also, with exchanges, you give them the empty, pay, and leave with a full. No waiting for the bottle to be filled, and an extra trip to retreive it after being filled. I don't know of any "weldind store" that can fill on premise. They have to send them out to be filled.
