Are you addicted to speed?

I think I am addicted to speed. Not the drug.. but rather the action. I have tried and tried to ride a motorcycle the speed limit.. and I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT!!

Its even spilled over into my cager activity. I CAN'T do the damn speed limit. My driving record sucks.. I pay tickets and high insurance..

Am I the only one?

I notice that when riding the "sportbike" that I also have a difficult time doing the posted limits. The bike is sooooo smooth, you just don't feel like you're going that fast. On the other bike I feel like I'm going fast when I'm really going much slower. Once you get used to the speed of things, it's hard to slow down. It's a habit. One you must break if you don't want to constantly get pulled over.

I used to speed a lot, got some tickets too. Went to the track a couple of times and speeding on the street became useless. Now I don't/won't ride my bike on the street at all.

On the bike I usually speed, but not excessively. I usually run with the flow in the car, I do find myself using brake markers and concentrating on looking through the turn in my car though

My biggest problem is when i play motogp or speedkings and then go out on the bike! No matter how conscious of it i am; i always push it and catch myself hitting it a bit.

As far as following "some others " downtown i tend to get into the groove as a matter of speaking!
Although when i feel like the pace and conditions are not for me i will step out and ride my own ride!

I've only received 2 speeding tickets. 1 was from 4 years ago,and the other was last summer going 67 on a 25!! On my bike, i only speed on nice and empty roads.(only have a permit)

My speeding had been getting out of hand. One time I left a bar after feeling sober enough to drive(the cage) and I got pulled over doing 70 in a 40. Although I felt sober Mr. Breathalyzer thought elsewise(.086). Damn DUI's are expensive.
